Nestlé India and S M Sehgal Foundation launch Project Vriddhi 2.0 Project Vriddhi focusses on an integrated approach of well-being, including education, sanitation, water conservation, and improving farm livelihoods. In its second phase, the initiative is expanding to the villages of Naharpur and Gabanspur in Punhana block to improve the lives of the locals through holistic rural development. Gender Training for Field Staff S M Sehgal Foundation organized a virtual gender training for its field staff on July 5-6, 2021. The two-day training was organized by Equal Community Foundation, Pune, for the foundation’s 100-plus members. The staff team explored gender from a human rights lens and discussed how to make all our programs more gender inclusive and gender sensitive.

Webinar: Household Water Treatment and Storage Sehgal Foundation conducted a webinar, “How HWTS can support the government agenda of safe water coverage in India,” on July 21, 2021, in collaboration with INREM Foundation and CAWST. Panelists discussed the importance of HWTS and how HWTS can support the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Sehgal Foundation launches a six-week virtual course (three hours a week) on HWTS, for water professionals, students and academia, beginning in September 2021, available free of cost. Click Here to enroll in the course.
